The players and families traveled down to Mount Forest on Sunday afternoon to have a re-match with the Mount Forest squad. The Owen Sound squad brought along several a.p. players to fill some absenses due to March break. While they had some power play chances and worked hard, the only goal came in the third period, for Mount Forest. As the clock wound down, the Hawks found themselves with a close game, but a loss. This was a good chance to meet up with this team again, and keep on the ice. Regular scheduled practices for our girls end this week.

Another tie with Stratford on Sunday evening, was not enough to give our Bantam A Ice Hawks the opportunity to go to Ottawa and the provincial tournament.
This time, there was great chances, but no great play that set our team apart from the Aces. With only one hard-earned goal by Kathryn Schreiber, the Hawks kept their scoring at one goal.
Now, the team turns their attention to one last tournament; "March Madness" at the Nottawasaga Inn, starting on Friday, March 1.
