Peewee HL, 2012-2013 (Owen Sound Girls Hockey)

Owen Sound Ice Hawks Peewee HL Consolation Champs On Saturday March 23, 2013, the Owen Sound Ice Hawks Peewee HL team skated hard onto the ice with determination to win.  Their opponent, first place team Saugeen Shores HL, would be no easy match.  It was an intense game.  Defensemen Kalie Armstrong, Amy Lefebvre, Megan Merner, and Rebecca VanDrunen, battled hard to limit shots on net. Showing no mercy, Saugeen Shores continually drove the net trying to put one past goalie Cassidy Caswell.  Making spectacular saves Cassidy stole the show stopping over 30 shots on net and earning game MVP.

Success for Owen Sound Peewee HL Ice Hawks If you thought you heard a bunch of squealing stuck pigs around 8:00 pm on Sat November 17th, well it wasn't pigs. It was the Owen Sound Peewee HL Ice Hawks celebrating their 1st big win of the season defeating Waterloo 2 - 0.  The Celley continued back at the Carriage Ridge Inn with swimming, hot tubbing, and games.

The Owen Sound Peewee HL Girls E Embroidery team are in Barrie this weekend competing in the Sharkfest Tournament.

Owen Sound 0,  Kincardine 3 Kincardine scorers Kaeleigh Heydon, Ariel Lunstra and Alexis Whitworth-Bjerg. Owen Sound is heading to Barrie this weekend to compete in the Sharkfest Tournament.  

Peewee HL Ice Hawks Lace Up Their Skates On October 20, 2012, the Owen Sound Peewee HL Girls Ice Hawks headed to Durham for their first game of the season.  The change room was filled with excitement as the girls laced up their skates and pulled on their jerseys.   With no one designated as goalie, Cassidy Caswell courageously volunteered for the challenging position.   At 12:03, the girls eagerly lined up and the puck dropped.  Cassidy Caswell stood tall to face her first shot in net and quickly pounced on the puck to make the save.  Kate Patton opened the scoring in the first period at ...
