Midget A, 2016-2017 (Owen Sound Girls Hockey)

What a fantastic season for the Owen Sound “Grey Bruce Laser Vision Centre” Midget A Ice Hawks with each and every girl on this team improving as individual players as well as coming together as a team.  Every player was challenged to step out of their comfort zone in one way or another…and all responded to those challenges.  This was an incredibly hard working group of young ladies and they were a true pleasure to be around.

It is on to Round Three for the Owen Sound “Grey Bruce Laser Vision Centre” Midget A Ice Hawks, after defeating the Kitchener Lady Rangers two straight in LLFHL Playoff action.

Lauren Radbourne scored the OT winner as the Owen Sound “Grey Bruce Laser Vision Centre” Midget A Ice Hawks captured GOLD at the Durham West 23rd Annual Bolts & Hearts Tournament in Pickering this past weekend.

Back to back wins for the Owen Sound “Grey Bruce Laser Vision Centre” Midget A Ice Hawks, sending them on to round two of the LLFHL Playoff Championships.

The Owen Sound “Grey Bruce Laser Vision” Midget A Ice Hawks finished up their regular season schedule on Sunday with a win against the North Halton Twisters. The ladies travelled to Georgetown for their final game of the 2016/17 regular season.  Even with sickness hitting the team hard and the pressure of exams looming, the girls came to play and were able to bring home the 1:0 win.  Arenn Osadzuk earned the shut-out & Kathryn Schreiber scored the lone goal of the game.    The Midget A girls finished third overall in the Central West division.  They will now face the Guelph Gryphons in ...
