Atom C vs Saugeen Shores Storm Sunday November 27, 2016
The Owen Sound Belfor Property Restoration Atom Cs came out strong today against the Saugeen Shores Storm. This was the third time the teams had met and while the IceHawks have been undefeated in their games against the storm they were not going to take the lightly.
The 1st period showed lots of back and forth action with both teams battling hard for the puck. Finally at the half way mark of the 1st period Zoe Beaupre managed to put us on the board.
The 2nd period saw both teams battling hard. The Storm hoped to capitalise on a power play however they were no match for our defense. The Storm then took a penalty which put us back at even strength. Despite many great rushes the score remained 1-0 after two periods of play. The 3rd period saw the IceHawks open things up with a second goal by Zoe Beaupre and another shortly thereafter by River Emonts. The final score of the game was 3-0. Congratulations girls on a strong team effort!!
