The Midget A Girls Face Off Against Cambridge
The Owen Sound Ice Hawks “Grey Bruce Laser Vision” Midget A
team hosted the Cambridge Roadrunners on Sunday at the Julie McArthur Regional
Recreation Centre in league play.
After a scoreless first period the Roadrunners had a one
goal lead heading into the third period.
About halfway through the period the Roadrunners went ahead by two but
Katie Papke got the Ice Hawks on the board with a beauty from the point at the
six minute mark– Jamieson Carr was awarded the assist.
The Roadrunners would add one more to take the game
3:1.
The Midget girls are back on the ice tomorrow as they host
the Saugeen Maitland Lightening Monday night at the Bayshore.
