Exciting Start to Playdowns!

Our Midget C Ice Hawks had an exciting game tonight to start the playdown series! In a tight battle with the TCDMHA Rebels they finished with a 0-0 score.
While they were short on the bench, they were not short on effort and the girls kept their heads in the game until the final buzzer. Blisters and aching muscles were not enough to keep our girls from playing fierce hockey. It should be noted that three players who couldn't play because of illness or injury still showed they were there for their team by cheering them on.
Siobhan Osborne worked hard for her shut-out, and the girls showed great spirit and versatility playing different positions when needed. Player of the game was awarded to Tasha Solmundson for making some great passes and solid forechecking. This article has been viewed 1180 times.
