PeeWee "A" Bounces Back after Tough Loss
The Peewee A Ice Hawks lost a tough one to the Mississauga Chiefs on Saturday, by a score of 6 to 1.
The lone marker was scored by Jamieson Carr, assisted by Kiandra Martin and Abby Grexton.
The girls bounced back on Sunday to tie North Simcoe in a scoreless contest. Katie Papke and Mae MacNeil held the Capitals' forwards at bay for the whole game. Arenn Osadzuk posted the shutout, once again refusing to be beat by a determined Simcoe team. Reese Wilkins and Jaydn Williams were excellent offensively for the Ice Hawks.
The girls next game is against the Barrie Sharks, at home this Saturday.
