Hard Work = 3 Points for PeeWee "A"
The Peewee A Ice Hawks played hard over the weekend.
On Saturday the girls travelled to Barrie to play against the Sharks. Jaydn Williams had a great game, scoring the Ice Hawks only goal assisted by Avery Wettlaufer and Reese Wilkins. Ashlynn Stephenson kept the game to a tie with her strong play in net.
The final score was 1-1.
On Sunday we hosted the Brampton Canadettes and the girls played hard. Brampton got up on Owen Sound with the first goal. Shortly after, Abby Grexton tied it up with a beautiful short handed goal in the second period. Avery Wettlaufer took the lead with a second goal assisted by Jamieson Carr. The third goal was scored by Jamieson Carr assisted by Kiandra Martin and Lauren Radbourne. The Canadettes pulled their goalie late in the third period to score a second goal. Arenn Osadzuk put on a great show with her aggressive play in net. It was a team effort with a strong showing by Owen Sound's defence!
The final score was 3-2 for the Ice Hawks.
