Great Year of Novice C Girls Hockey
The Sign Street Novice C Ice Hawks wrapped up their season this past weekend in Brampton at the Worlds largest Girls hockey tournament. The girls faced some of the tournaments top competition including the Tournament champion Markham and the hosts Brampton who played for Bronze. The Girls played in the C Championship Saturday night losing to Nepean 3-0 but came home with a Silver Medal.
42 Games, and 60 some practices throughout the last 6 months with these young ladies. We're very proud of each and every one of them for how far they've come not only as a hockey player, but as a person. Congrats Sign Street Novice C Ice Hawks on such a great season.
Thank you to all the coaching staff, parents, sponsors, and everyone else behind the scenes to make girls hockey what it is today! Thank you to Deb and Dan Shaw of Sign Street and all our jersey and individual sponsors that helped make our season great!
The Girls are really looking forward to their year-end wrap up fun day away in Toronto at the Jays game in 2 weeks.
All the best to the girls moving on next season to Atom Ice Hawks Hockey.
