Two point Weekend for PeeWee "A"
The
Peewee A Ice Hawks gain 2 points over the weekend at home.
The Ice Hawks lost Saturdays game against Etobicoke Dolphins 2-0.
However, Sundays game was a big win over the Mississauga Chiefs who lead the league in points. In the first period Lauren Radbourne gave a great pass to Abby Grexton who snuck one by the goalie to start us off.
The Chiefs tied it up in the second period. In the third period the Ice Hawks took back the lead with Abby returning the favour with a nice pass to Lauren to score our second goal. To seal the deal Reece Wilkins netted one (assisted by Avery Wettlaufer). Both of our goalies Ashlynn Stephenson and Arenn Osadzuk were strong between the posts. The final score was 3-1 for the Ice Hawks.
