All team staff are in contact with players at any time - including behind the bench, on the ice, in the dressing room at any other times or locations - need to submit a clear Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) through the OHF's Screening and Declaration Submission Portal. This includes all coaches, assistant coaches, on-ice staff, trainers, managers, and dressing room supervisors.
- All staff must complete a NEW DECLARATION for the 2025-2026 season - even those that completed a declaration last season.
- Vulnerable Sector Checks (VSC's) are valid for 3 seasons. If your VSC was issued in the 2023-24 or 2024-25 seasons, and was uploaded to the OHF last year, only a new declaration should be required.
- If your VSC was issued for the 2022-2023 season or before, or you did not submit a VSC last season - a new VSC will be required before you can upload it to the screening portal.
