Hockeyfest 2025

Owen Sound Girls Hockey, in partnership with the City of Owen Sound, is proud to host the return of Hockeyfest — a three-day celebration of our city’s deep hockey roots and bright future.

Highlights of the Weekend

• Thursday, November 13 – Free East vs. West high school games at the Bayshore Community Centre.
• Friday, November 14 – School visits, youth clinics, and officiating workshops led by the University of Waterloo Warriors women’s hockey team.
• Saturday, November 15 – Feature OUA Women’s Hockey Game between the Waterloo Warriors and Toronto Varsity Blues, plus the Kiwanis Santa Claus Parade, Festival of Northern Lights kickoff, and the “Sick Shot” ball hockey tournament in memory of Josh Olynyk.

Hockeyfest is more than just a tournament — it’s about community, inspiration, and celebration.
