Are you a motivated individual, who would
like to take a more active role in your daughter’s hockey organization, but
don’t have the time to volunteer at the ice level? Please consider volunteering with the
executive.
The Owen Sound Ice Hawks Executive Group has open positions for the
2020/2021 season.
The open positions
are:
· Secretary
· Treasurer
· Director of Sponsorship and Apparel
· Director of Public Relations and Promotions/Webmaster
· Social Committee Chair Person

The Owen Sound Ice Hawks Secretary position is the executive glue! They co-ordinate the executive meetings, create the agendas, take meeting minutes and distribute them to our executive members.
If you enjoy working with spreadsheets and money or are just really good at it. Good news the position of Treasurer is available! The responsibilities of treasurer include bill paying, receiving and processing registration fees for the upcoming season, making bank deposits and keeping a running income statement/spreadsheet for the organization.
Do you have a knack for selling and networking? If so the Owen Sound Ice Hawks Executive needs you! Director of Sponsorship and Apparel: Duties include, canvasing past and potential sponsors, ordering sponsor bars and sponsor boards, coordinating team apparel through the executive approved supplier.
Are you tech savvy? Enjoy working with media? Then the Director of Public Relations and Promotions/Webmaster could be the job for you! Duties include liaising with the media regarding promotion of Owen Sound Girls Hockey, Co-ordinate team photographs, Look after the display cabinet at the Rec Center and update the Owen Sound Ice Hawks website as necessary.
Are you known as the party planner among your friends? The Social Committee Chairperson could be the position you didn’t know you needed in your life. The responsibilities include organizing parties and events for the Ice Hawks with the assistance of a representative from every team.
