Big Win Forces Game 5 Back In Owen Sound...

The Owen Sound Home Decor & More Bantam BB Ice Hawks were in Walkerton on Tuesday Feb 26th to play Game #4 of the Provincial Qualifier Series with the Capitals.

The 6 point series was lead by Walkerton 4 points to 2 heading in but is all squared away after the Ice Hawks were able to secure a 3 to 0 win.

Natalie Madill started the scoring in the first period with an assist going to Kenzie Falls.  Natlaie Tolton scored to go up 2 to 0 in the second period with assists going to Keirsten Henrich and Chesney Miller. Lyndsay Cumming scored in the third period with assists going to Maggie Harvey and Olivia Hall.

Walkerton goal tender, Tiegan Campbell faced 14 shots while Sophia Fuller Made 16 saves in her 3rd shut out of the series.

Game #5 is slated for next Tuesday, March 5th at 8pm in Owen Sound at the Julie McArthur Regional Rec Center.

If Tied after regulation, 2 Ten Minute Sudden Death Overtime Periods will follow and if nothing decided, a shoot out.

Winner gets to go to the 2019 Provincial Womens Championships on April 6th 7th weekend in Toronto.
