Another Successful Season for our MiniHawks Development Program
Submitted By Laura Vandrunen on Thursday, March 22, 2018
On Tuesday night we wrapped up the 2017/18 MiniHawks development program.  We had 26 players join our team throughout the season and every one of them improved right through to the last practice.  On behalf of the coaches, we can’t wait to see these little players develop in their future hockey careers!

There were a lot of fun events throughout the year, including the Attack Minigame, marching in the Santa Claus parade, and a visit from Coach Tory, but the highlight was certainly our year-end intersquad game.  The match attracted a near sell-out crowd at the Rec Centre and the girls didn't disappoint - ending in a hard-fought 3-3 tie.  It was a great wrap-up to a fantastic season!

Thank you to the players, coaches, parents, and sponsors who made this another successful year!
