
Midget A Coaching Announcement
Owen Sound Girls Hockey is excited to announce
Rob Brown will be returning as the head coach of the 2017-18 Midget A team.
Rob's 2016-17 Midget team is currently battling in the 3rd round of the LLFHL playoffs. The team finished the regular season 3rd in their division with 24 points. To date their season record sits at 22 - 11 - 11. The team recently went undefeated and brought home gold in the Durham West Bolts and Hearts tournament.
Rob has over 25 years of experience working with hockey players of all ages. As a coach he has enjoyed success with numerous league championships, tournament titles and an OMHA championship at the midget level. He is an alumnus of the Owen Sound Jr. B Greys' and was the last Head Coach in the storied 100 year history of the club.
Rob has been extensively involved with Hockey Canada’s Program of Excellence including the U16 Program, and also spent many years with Hockey Canada Skill Development Camps including time as Head Coach. He has international coaching experience and has worked with many players who have gone on to scholarships and professional hockey careers.
