Shea Tiley signed to Womens Under 18 Team
Congratulations to Shea Tiley who has been named to Canada's Women's under 18 Hockey Team!
Shea from Shallow Lake attended a selection camp Aug 10-18th in Rockland, Ont.
The team plays in a 3 game exhibition match vs the USA in Lake Placid, N.Y. August 22-25th. In the first game of that series Thursday
Shea backstopped the team with 25 saves to a 4 - 1 over the USA. Canada managed to take game 2 with a 3-2 win. In that game
Kassidy Sauvé stopped 22 of 24 shots for the Canadians. The third game of this series will be played Sunday August 25th @ 10:00 am.
This season Shea will suit up for the K-W Rangers of the Provincial Women's Hockey League.
The IIHF World Championships will take place next April at a yet to be announced venue.
