2024-2025 U13A Coaching Announcement
OSGH is very happy to announce that Jeremy McCoubrey will be returning as our U13 tier 1 coach for the 2024/25 season.
Jeremy has been central to the development girls hockey in Owen Sound. He started coaching with the Ice Hawks in 2015, launching the first U7 Girls’ Program in Grey/Bruce which became a foundational piece to the rapid growth of our organization and our progression to higher competitive levels. Players from that first group of U7’s have since made two trips to Provincial Finals, winning gold at 13A in 2023. As a coach, Jeremy led our first U11A team in 2022/23 and is the current head coach for 13A.
As a member of our Executive he has developed policies to support competitive hockey in Owen Sound and led initiatives such as 2023 Hockeyfest to connect our local players to female role models. Jeremy is passionate coach who believes a positive and challenging environment is key to individual and team success.
The 2024/25 U13 Tier 1 team will play at the AA or A level. The proper competitive fit will be determined after team selection and prior to the commencement of the upcoming season per OSGH Team Categorization policy.
