Success All Around!
This past weekend the Owen Sound Sign Street Novice C Ice Hawks entered their first tournament of the season in the Orillia area. The Girls played 3 games in the Novice B Division of the Orillia Hawks 21st Annual Girls Hockey Tournament. 

 They faced Woolwich Wild in the first game and played fantastic holding the Tournaments silver medalists to just 2 goals after 2 periods but lost 5-0. The 2nd game the girls played Brantford Ice Cats. They had a rough start down 5-0 in the 1st but held their own the rest of the way losing 6-1. in the 3rd game we lost 2-1 in a very exciting game vs North Simcoe Capitals. With each and every shift throughout the weekend every Ice Hawk improved which made for some great team success and lots of positives moving forward. The girls had a blast enjoying each others company all weekend.  
Sign Street Novice C's will play host to Kincardine Saturday at 11am and to Walkerton 2:30pm Sunday at the Julie MacArthur Regional Recreation Centre.
