Development with Katie Weatherston
On September 18 the Peewee girls had the pleasure of meeting Katie Weatherston from Team Canada. She started playing international hockey for Canada at the 2004 Four Nations Cup and has won Gold with Canada at the 2007 IIHF World Women Championships as well as Gold at the 2006 Olympics.
The girls enjoyed an hour of on ice drills with her and then got to spend some time in the dressing room asking her questions about her time with Team Canada along with getting to see her medals, Olympic ring and her Olympic torch.
