Oh! What a Weekend!!! The Mar Wind-Wiarton Golf Club Owen Sound Bantam 'A' team win back to back games this past weekend!
On Saturday, November 22, 2014 the Bantam girls hosted the Orillia Hawks at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre and won 3-1. Scoring for Owen Sound was Avery Wettlaufer (2) and Hillary Holyome. Assists were from Jamie Carr (2), Kyrah Wesley and Rebecca Martindale with one a piece.
On Sunday, November 23, 2014 was Sponsor Day for the Owen Sound Girls Hockey Organization and the Bantam 'A' girls played Orillia Hawks again and won 2-1. Scoring for Owen Sound was Hillary Holyome and Zoey Davis. Assisted by Kassey Mustard (2) and Kyrah Wesley.
The team would like to thank all the sponsors who attended the hockey game and joined the team for snacks afterwards.
The Owen Sound Ice Hawks next home game is December 6, 2014 at 12:30 pm at the Julie McArthur Recreation Centre against North Simcoe Capitals.
