The WOAA Intermediate Girls` Year End League Tournament was held this past weekend.
On Friday evening the Owen Sound Harold Sutherland Construction Ice Hawks played against Belmore.
Owen Sound won the game 3 - 2. Scoring for Owen Sound were Kayla McClinchey with two and Kristen Jacques with the other goal.
On Saturday evening Owen Sound played the Walkerton. Walkerton won 4 - 3. Scorers for Owen Sound were Kayla McClinchey with two and Charlotte Curley with the other goal.
On Sunday in the consolation final the Owen Sound Girls beat Lucknow 6 - 4. Goals scorers for Owen Sound were Kayla McClinchey with two goals, Kristen Jacques, Linsey Mysak, Kristen MacDonald and Tia Clark each with one.
What a great season this terrific group of girls had - winning Provincials and now Consolation Champs in their league. Way to go girls.
