Busy Stretch of Ice Hawk Hockey
The Owen Sound Sign Street Novice C Ice Hawks just finished 4 games in the last 5 days beginning Friday February 24th and ending tonight in Desboro.  The Ice Hawks went 2-2 in that stretch picking up 2 wins out the 3 on the road.  

Friday night the girls traveled to Port Elgin to play the Saugeen Storm.  Aimee Dubosq played a strong game in net for the Ice Hawks recording a shutout in a big 1-0 win.  Shailan Miller scored the games only goal.
Saturday the Ice Hawks traveled to Kincardine for an afternoon battle at the Davidson Centre.  The Ice Hawks held the Kinucks to a 1-1 draw until late the 3rd with 7 minutes to go when Kincardine broke it open scoring 6 unanswered goals to take the win.  Hailey Feltis scored for the Ice Hawks.
Sunday the Ice Hawks hosted the Chatsworth Rebels and lost 2-1.  Emma Cooper scored with 16 seconds left on a redirect shot from Hailey Feltis.
Tuesday night in the home and home rematch vs. the Rebels Aimee Dubosq played outstanding between the pipes recording her 4th shutout this season in a big 1-0 victory.  Shailan Miller scored the games only goal finding her own rebound off a breakaway in the 2nd period.
The Ice Hawks wrap up their OWHA Playdown schedule this Sunday at home when Walkerton visits at 2:30pm at the Rec Centre.
