Busy Weekend...
It was another busy
weekend for the Owen Sound Ice Hawks “Grey Bruce
Laser Vision” Midget A Girls.
Some of the Midget girls were up bright and
early Saturday morning to take part in the Owen Sound Santa Claus Parade. Thanks to Arenn, Katie, Rachel, Kassey, & Amber
for their help and support with the float and braving the cold on Saturday morning.
Saturday evening the ladies were in Oakville to meet the Hornets at the Glen Abbey Community Centre. Arenn Osadzuk recorded her second shut-out of the season with a big 3:0 win for the Ice Hawks.
Sunday afternoon it was off to Teeswater to face off against the Saugeen Maitland Lightning. The Hawks came out strong by opening the scoring and kept it close as they headed into the third all tied up at one a piece. But despite a strong effort by all, the Hawks fell behind in third and Saugeen buried an empty netter in the final minute and the Ice Hawks fell 3:1
