Owen Sound Midget C team defeats Saugeen Shores
Our team was missing a few girls today, but they still worked hard and showed great teamwork.
The girls continue to work on their passing, and the results are more goals!
Our goals were scored today by Mae MacNeil, Hannah DesRoches, and Alyssa Lozon.
Saugeen continued to push back and they showed considerable grit to keep trying to put one in our net. Their effort paid off and they did manage to slide one past our goalie. After the first goal though, Siobhan Osborne stayed sharp and stopped every other shot for the rest of the night.
Player of the game is selected by the team, and tonight they picked Kalie Armstrong for her hard work and strong performance on D.
