THE PAUL DAVIS SYSTEMS PEE WEE A HOCKEY SHOWCASE GAME
The Paul Davis Systems PeeWee A IceHawks Girl's Team smiled for the TV cameras and basked in the limelight following their 3 - 2 victory over the Oakville Hornets on Sunday 21st November at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Arena.

In fact, all of the Owen Sound teams who played were victorious on this special Showcase day organized in appreciation of their supportive Sponsors.
The game was an entertaining battle between probably the two youngest PeeWee A teams in the Lower Lakes League.  After a scoreless 1st period, Hailey Farnell opened the scoring in the 2nd period assisted by Olivia Hall.  In the waning seconds of the period Lilly VanGeel without hesitation put the Paul Davis IceHawks up by two, slamming in a rebound on a cannonading drive off the crossbar by defence(man) Jillian Goldie.
The 3rd period play continued to delight fans of both teams and 5 minutes in, Taylor Sanford brought the Visitors within one on an unassisted marker.  But less than a minute later Skyler Pomroy would notch what proved to be the winner from Ella Tiley and Kennedy Stauffer.  Not giving up, the Hornets Katherine Verth, with just seconds to spare, made the final 3 - 2 in favour of Owen Sound.
The Paul Davis PeeWee's league record stands at 4 wins, 4 losses, and 1 tie, with a chance to go over 500 with a win at their next home game at the Julie McArthur Regional Recreation Center Sunday 29th November @ 11am vs the Barrie Sharks.
